You have two options per course:
Option 1: Access all the course material at once without access to the online community. You will have access to the eCourse for 3 years.
Option 2: Receive one lesson per week across 12 weeks. You have access to the online community, and each week you will engage with community members online around sharing reflections and activities to practice skills. You will continue to have access to the eCourse for 3 years.
The purpose of the chat feature is to build community and foster a sense of comradery and have a safe place to practice the skills learned in a group.
To find out which subgroup fits you best, we ask that you or your loved one go through an initial quiz. This quiz will filter you into the appropriate group.
The chat feature is like a discussion board that appears within the eCourse. You will be asked to share your reflections or practice skills in the discussion boards.
As with any good chat group, participants' privacy cannot legally be guaranteed. We do ask though that you keep the information shared by group members to yourself. This helps others feel more comfortable using this online chat feature. Likewise, we ask that you use this tool appropriately and safely. That means:
If we find that you are in violation of any of our guidelines, we reserve the right to terminate your membership and/or revoke your access to the chat feature.
Autism therapy is not offered on this e-learning platform. If you are looking for an inclusive and supportive therapist in your area, we recommend checking out our resource page for suggestions on places to look.
